Dance Massive is launching a brand new initiative for the 2019 festival (12-24 March). We invite you to submit ideas for a large scale participatory dance project to activate public space in Melbourne.

We are on the lookout for a proposal which features an innovative choreographic concept with strong participatory and audience engagement elements. We will be considering the scale of impact and the quality and nature of engagement for participants.

A financial contribution of $15,000 is available, along with marketing, digital and publicity support for the project.

Expressions of Interest are open between 29 August and 12 September, closing at 9am. Selected proposals will be invited to meet with the Dance Massive Consortium to discuss their project further.

The selected project will be announced as part of a broader Dance Massive public program launch in mid-November.
