The Festival of Live Art was a biennial festival that occurred in Melbourne in three iterations, in March 2014, 2016 and 2018.

The Festival of Live Art (FOLA) was co-produced by a consortium of three Melbourne presenters with an interest in working with live, conceptual and experimental art: Arts House; Theatre Works and Footscray Community Arts Centre.

FOLA encouraged audiences to attend a boutique experimental festival, privileging interaction, experimentation and artworks in non-traditional mediums and spaces. The Festival of Live Art offered audiences active engagement with art – prioritising unique, high quality and deep artistic experiences.
