In a complex global context, Arts House in 2008 reflects a growing dissatisfaction with short term cultural, social and political fixes and the fleeting emptiness of high availability entertainment.

2008 sees the return of URBANology, an inter-disciplinary, non-festival cluster of contemporary urban-inspired artforms
featuring the inspired Le Parkour practitioners, Trace Elements. With the city’s built environment as its inspiration, canvas and stage, URBANology uncovers a new way of appreciating the creative possibilities of urban life.
