Arts House celebrates the transformative power of art that expands our horizons and challenges cultural boundaries for both audiences and artists alike. It’s with great enthusiasm we continue an unflinching commitment to contemporary arts practices which question our values and preconceptions.

In 2007 wide awake – a new sleep pursues a more active and engaged spectatorship as we begin to dismantle orthodox approaches, moving beyond passive observation and conventional audience relationships. Arts House’s passion for new ideas remains undiminished with a provocative program of contemporary art across two venues.

CultureLAB is the Arts House tactical initiative in partnership with Arts Victoria through the SCOOP program. In 2007 it continues to go from from strength to strength as we support the development of more than 20 projects at Arts House, Meat Market.
