In the event of an emergency, our neighbours often become our First Responders.
Refuge 2019 culminates in a feast, and you’re invited to take a place at the table and get to know your community. We all know that in a disaster the people you might turn to most are your neighbours. But how well do you actually know them?
Words Nourish Neighbours is an evening of food and story-sharing with community members from Colombia, Iran, Somalia, Ethiopia, Tibet and beyond who are now living in North Melbourne.
Are you willing to knock on your neighbour’s door and invite them along?
